You can create a Langmate account using Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), or an Apple ID. The SNS account you choose during registration is automatically linked to your Langmate account as your primary login method.
Please Note: The account linking feature is currently only available on the iOS version of the Langmate app. It is not available on Android devices.
Why link multiple accounts?
If you delete the SNS account you originally used to register, you will lose access to your Langmate account. However, by using the “Link Account” feature to connect an additional SNS account (for example, linking Facebook if you originally signed up with X), you can use it as a backup. This ensures you can always log in to Langmate, even if your primary SNS account becomes unavailable.
How to link an SNS account
- Tap My Page at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap the Settings (gear icon) at the top right.
- Tap Link Account.
- Select an unlinked SNS icon (displayed in gray) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
*Note: The icons labeled “Linked” are your currently connected SNS accounts.
How to unlink an SNS account
- Tap My Page at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap the Settings (gear icon) at the top right.
- Tap Link Account.
- Tap a “Linked” SNS account to disconnect it.
Privacy Promise
Langmate will never automatically access your linked SNS accounts or post to your timeline without your permission. The account linking feature is strictly used to provide you with secure and reliable login options.
