How to create an account

Welcome to Langmate! Before you start making friends, you will need to create an account. Please follow the steps below, depending on your device.

iOS

Download the Langmate app for iOS (iPhones).
Select your login method (using Apple, Facebook, or Twitter).
Follow the steps on the screen to give access to the chosen connection method.
Fill in your profile information.
Select your language(s) your can speak and the one(s) you want to learn.
Add your profile picture.
Verify your new profile information (how other users will see your public profile, aka Card)
Allow Langmate access to all required permissions
and GO!

Android

Download the Langmate app for Android
Select your login method (using Facebook, or Twitter).
Follow the steps on the screen to give access to the chosen connection method.
Fill in your profile information.
Select your language(s) your can speak and the one(s) you want to learn.
Add your profile picture.
Verify your new profile information (how other users will see your public profile, aka Card)
Allow Langmate access to all required permissions
and GO!

Will my friends see that I use Langmate if I create an account using my Facebook or Twitter account?

No, your social network friends and/or followers will never see that you use Langmate, and we will never post anything on your social networks.
We only use your Facebook or Twitter account for login purpose.
