How do I back up and restore my account?

Backups are useful if you plan to change your device.
You can save a copy of your messages, photos, videos, and voice messages shared during chat sessions, and restore it on your new device.
Note: For security reasons, you will need a Google account to use the Backup functionality.

How to Unfriend a User

Unfriending removes the user from your Chat list, but you may still see them in the Match screen later.

1. Open your Chat with the user.
2. Tap the Menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner.
3. Select Unfriend and confirm your choice.

How to Block a User

Blocking completely prevents the user from contacting you or seeing your profile on Langmate.

1. Select Block (or Report & Block) and confirm.
2. Open the user’s Profile or your Chat with them.
3. Tap the Menu icon in the top right corner.
