Why does it say “The chat has ended”?

To ensure a better user experience on Langmate, conversations may sometimes be ended.

In such cases, “Conversation ended” will be displayed.

Examples of why a conversation may end:

• The other user blocked you.
• The other user deleted their account.
• The other user’s account was suspended due to inappropriate behavior on Langmate.

Conversations may end for reasons such as these, and unfortunately, you will no longer be able to continue the conversation with that user.

What should I do next?

Since ended chats cannot be restored, we encourage you to return to the Match screen and swipe to find new language partners!
